ORDER PROCESSING

Please allow up to 10 business days to process your order, though most orders are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days. You will receive an email notification once your order is ready to be shipped.

REGARDING SHIPPING METHODS

The shipping method will be selected by us with careful consideration of efficiency and safety to ensure your order arrives securely. While we are unable to accommodate specific carrier requests, all shipments come with tracking information, so you can monitor your delivery's progress. We strive to provide a seamless and reliable delivery experience.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

After placing your order, you will receive an email with your order number and details.

DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING

We take utmost care during packaging to ensure the outer box remains in pristine condition. However, minor dents or scratches may occur during transit. We kindly ask for your understanding, as these do not affect the usability or quality of the product itself. For any significant damage caused during shipping, please contact us promptly at japanesehocho@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the item's condition. We will address these cases individually and strive to find a satisfactory resolution.

LOST PACKAGES

If your package is marked as delivered but you haven't received it, please:

  • Verify the shipping address.
  • Check all possible delivery locations at your residence.
  • Ask neighbors or family members if they accepted the package.
  • Contact the courier with your tracking number to initiate a claim.

If your package is officially declared lost, contact us immediately with your order number. We will either reship your order or provide a refund based on your preference.

FLAT RATE SHIPPING

Orders are shipped within 3 to 5 business days after processing, using JAPAN POST, DHL, or FedEx. Estimated delivery time may vary by destination, with standard delivery times ranging from 10 to 20 business days. Additional designation for DHL can be set up through the link provided after the tracking number has been issued.

To ensure consistent quality and reliability in our delivery services, we apply a flat shipping rate to all orders. While we do not currently offer free shipping, we are committed to providing fast, secure, and efficient shipping for every order.

Optional: At this time, we do not ship outside of the United States, Hong Kong, or Japan.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES AND ESTIMATES

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We offer international shipping to the following countries: United States and Hong Kong.
At this time, we do not ship to other countries.

IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Akebono Steel is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and they are your responsibility as the customer.

REFUNDS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. Please note that the return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

Please note that certain items, such as sale items or used products, may not be eligible for return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at japanesehocho@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item's condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
